The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after the International Court of Justice rejected South Africa's request to limit Israeli military operations in Rafah, called for global condemnation of South Africa, stating that the country has become the 'legal arm of Hamas.' In a statement, the Israeli Foreign Ministry deemed South Africa's efforts to undermine Israel's right to defend itself and its citizens against Hamas as baseless and futile, adding that Israel will continue its operations in Gaza to free hostages and protect its citizens. The statement also mentioned that Israel is committed to adhering to international laws, facilitating humanitarian aid, and preventing harm to civilians, while considering South Africa's accusation of genocide as offensive and unacceptable. The Israeli Foreign Ministry emphasized the continuation of efforts to free hostages and end violence in Gaza, urging the international community to condemn South Africa's actions.
