The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees in Gaza stated on social media on Saturday that 40% of Gaza's residents are at risk of famine. Israel has blocked the delivery of more food, fuel, and medicine to Gaza since the October 7 attack. However, on Sunday, Israel announced it is ready to allow ships from some Western countries to deliver aid directly to Gaza's shores after security checks in Cyprus. The appointment of Israel Katz as the new Foreign Minister of Israel; Parliament must approve it.
