Israel: 'Precise and Limited Operation' at Nasser Hospital Concluded; 200 Arrested

According to 'Times of Israel', the Israeli army confirmed on Sunday, March 6, that a 'precise and limited operation' at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, which began last week, has concluded with approximately '200 terrorist suspects' arrested during the operation. The Israeli army stated that at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, sealed boxes of medicine were found with the names of hostages taken by Hamas during the October 15 attack on southern Israel, as well as several weapons belonging to Hamas operatives. According to the Israeli army, many of the 200 arrested suspects were members of terrorist groups involved in Hamas's October 15 attack on Israel and were connected to hostages captured by Hamas. The report indicates that based on the testimony of released hostages and interrogated terrorist suspects, the hostages were previously held at this hospital. The Israeli army stated that this operation was conducted by the Israeli army and the 'Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories' to ensure 'minimal disruption to the hospital's daily activities and without harming patients and medical staff.' The Israeli army noted that the hospital's generator, which had failed during the operation, was replaced with another generator and emphasized that 'all vital hospital systems continued to operate with an uninterrupted power supply throughout the operation.' The Israeli army also mentioned that food, water, medical supplies, and infant formula were delivered to Nasser Hospital in coordination with the Israeli army. The Israeli army emphasized that 'at the request of hospital staff and in cooperation with the international community, several critically ill patients were transferred from the hospital to other medical centers.'
