Israel Takes Down Four Palestinian Militants in West Bank

Israeli security forces on Monday, November 6, eliminated four Palestinian militants in the West Bank. The Israeli army and police announced in a statement that these four individuals were members of a Hamas cell in the West Bank and were involved in several shootings against Israelis. The Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Health also reported that the four were killed in Tulkarm, near the Israeli border, as a result of Israeli security forces shooting at their vehicle. According to the Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Health, before this incident, at least 155 Palestinians living in the West Bank had been killed following Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7. According to Reuters, the escalating violence in the West Bank comes after 18 months of bloody conflicts in the region, and there are now fears that the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas could lead to an explosion of the situation in the West Bank.
