Israeli Air Force Attacks Hezbollah Weapons Depot in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced on Friday, September 6, that its air force attacked a Hezbollah weapons depot in the Bledah region of southern Lebanon on Thursday night, September 5. The Israeli army also noted on its Telegram channel that Hezbollah military structures in the Ayta ash-Shab and Yarin areas in southern Lebanon were targeted in the attack. According to the Times of Israel website on Thursday, since the beginning of the Hezbollah-Israel conflict following the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7 of last year, 433 members of this Iranian-backed proxy group, including several of its senior commanders, have been killed as a result of Israeli attacks. Hezbollah has launched attacks on Israel in support of this Iranian proxy group following the Hamas attack. Hezbollah's attacks on northern Israel have caused the displacement of tens of thousands of Israeli citizens and the deaths of several soldiers and civilians. During the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel, over 1,200 Israeli citizens, including women, children, and the elderly, were killed, and more than 250 others were taken hostage. Following this terrorist attack, Israel launched an offensive against Gaza to destroy Hamas and recover hostages taken by that militant group. The ongoing conflicts in Gaza, the West Bank, and the Lebanese border; Israel: Hamas will pay a heavy price for killing hostages.
