Israeli Army: 'At least 40 Hamas militants' killed in one day

On October 7, Hamas militants killed at least 1,200 people, mostly civilians, in a terrorist attack on southern Israel and took about 240 individuals, including children, women, and the elderly, hostage to Gaza.
