Israeli Army Claims to Have Bombed Over 14,000 'Terrorist Targets' in Gaza

Israeli Defense Forces announced that in the past month, they have attacked over 14,000 'terrorist targets,' eliminating many Hamas militants and destroying key infrastructure and weaponry. According to Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, the defense forces have destroyed over 100 Hamas tunnels and more than 4,000 weapons, many of which were located within mosques, kindergartens, and residential buildings. Hagari reiterated that a ceasefire will not be established and repeated the claim that Hamas uses 'its population as human shields.' He stated, 'There are achievements, but the war is still long. We have a long way to go. Hamas terrorists say to themselves that a ceasefire will be established. There is no ceasefire; we continue to move forward.' Hagari also mentioned that while the Israeli army is focused on attacking Gaza, Israel is on 'full alert' to 'neutralize terrorism' in the occupied West Bank and around the Red Sea. On Tuesday, Israel announced that its forces are working deep within the city of Gaza to eliminate Hamas, with the leader of this Islamist militant group trapped in a shelter. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated that Israeli soldiers are operating in the heart of Gaza City. Galant said in a televised press conference that Yahya Sinwar, the most important Hamas leader in Gaza, is hiding in his shelter. According to Reuters, Galant stated that Israeli military forces have launched an assault from the north and south with complete coordination between ground, air, and naval forces. Galant stated that Israeli forces are present in Gaza on foot, with armored vehicles, and tanks, along with military engineers from all directions, with 'one goal - Hamas terrorists in Gaza, their infrastructure, their commanders, bunkers, communication rooms. They are tightening the noose around the city of Gaza.' Galant mentioned that there are kilometers of tunnels beneath Gaza City, which also run under schools and hospitals, containing weapons depots, communication rooms, and hiding places for Hamas militants. The war began on October 6 when Hamas forces crossed the Gaza fence, killing 1,400 Israelis, mostly civilians, and abducting over 200. Since then, Israel has bombarded Gaza, a coastal area, and according to statistics from officials in the Hamas-controlled region, over 10,000 people have been killed, about 40 percent of whom are said to be children. Israel, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan consider the Islamist group Hamas, which is supported by the Islamic Republic, a terrorist organization.
