Israeli Army Reports Discovery and Blocking of Hezbollah Tunnels in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that it has identified and blocked underground tunnels belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. According to Israeli officials, these tunnels were used by Hezbollah's 'Radwan' forces to carry out terrorist attacks. In a special operation, the Israeli army destroyed these tunnels and filled them with cement. A video released by the Israeli army shows images from inside these tunnels and the equipment present in them. Although the authenticity of the location and timing of these images has not been independently verified, the video displays Hezbollah's equipment and tools within the underground tunnels. In this operation, the paratrooper unit and the 'Yahalom' engineering unit of the Israeli army used heavy machinery and cement trucks to fill the tunnels and render them unusable. The released images fully show the process of filling the tunnels with cement. According to the Israeli army, these tunnels were designed for the movement of Hezbollah forces and equipment, and blocking them is part of Israel's efforts to counter Hezbollah threats in the border areas of southern Lebanon.
