Israeli Army: The Death of Nasrallah Will Make the World a Safer Place

Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli army, stated that the killing of Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, would make the world a 'safer place.' He noted that Nasrallah was killed in a 'precise attack' by Israeli defense forces on Hezbollah's central headquarters in Beirut while he was commanding imminent attacks against the people of Israel. Hagari described Nasrallah as 'one of Israel's greatest enemies of all time,' who had posed a threat to Israeli citizens for decades, with the blood of countless men, women, and children from Israel and other countries, including the USA, UK, France, Lebanon, Syria, and other victims across the Middle East and beyond on his hands. He mentioned that Hezbollah began its attacks on Israel a day after Hamas's assault and had committed to planning and executing an attack similar to the 'October 7 massacre' on a 'larger scale' at the northern borders of the country. Hagari added that fighter jets are currently targeting this group throughout Lebanon. He emphasized that Hezbollah has greater capabilities, stating, 'This is not over.' After the Israeli army announced on Saturday, October 7, the death of Hassan Nasrallah in the attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Hezbollah eventually confirmed the death of its Secretary-General in these attacks. Hassan Nasrallah was the third Secretary-General of Hezbollah after Subhi al-Tufayli and Abbas Musawi and was one of the most loyal commanders of the Islamic Republic's proxy forces to Ali Khamenei. In one of his most famous speeches to the people of Iran and the world, he stated, 'I say clearly to the world, the budget and expenses for the food, weapons, and missiles of Hezbollah come from the Islamic Republic of Iran, and no sanctions will affect this process.' The Israeli army is on standby for a wider conflict. The New York Times reported that Israel had known about Nasrallah's location months before the attack. Hezbollah confirmed Nasrallah's death. France stated that its intelligence assessment indicated Nasrallah's death. Reuters reported that Khamenei has been moved to a 'safe location.' Netanyahu remarked that enemies thought we were like a spider's web, but we have steel tendons. Biden ordered American forces to be on standby following Israel's heavy attack on Hezbollah positions. The founder of Hezbollah called for the trial and punishment of the leader of the Islamic Republic.
