Israeli Army: We have attacked 5,000 Hamas targets since the start of ground operations in Gaza

In this context, Volker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, called on Saturday for adherence to human rights standards to facilitate humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians. According to the Associated Press, he emphasized the need for aid to the 2.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip. Israel claims to be cooperating with the Red Cross for humanitarian assistance in Gaza, but Hamas is said to be creating obstacles. Hamas confirmed clashes with the Israeli army around the Shifa hospital in Gaza. The Israeli army claims to have captured important Hamas bases in Gaza and killed 150 'terrorists.' The World Health Organization reported that the health condition of Israeli hostages in Gaza is concerning.
