Israeli Artillery Attacks in Syria; Two Islamic Jihad Members Killed in Drone Strike

The Israeli army announced that its tanks targeted positions in Syria from the Golan Heights on Thursday. In response to a question from the French news agency regarding these two Islamic Jihad members, the Israeli army stated that it would not comment on the matter. Over the past decade of the Syrian civil war, Israel has conducted cross-border attacks against positions of the Islamic Republic and its affiliated militant groups, including Hezbollah and, in some cases, the Syrian army. The Syrian state news agency reported that earlier this month, an Israeli attack on Syria's Mediterranean coast resulted in the deaths of two Syrian soldiers.
