Israeli Attacks on Gaza; At Least 32 Killed

The Israeli army stated on Saturday, December 1, that it killed a Palestinian accused of participating in a terrorist attack on the country on October 7 of last year. This militant was killed during an Israeli army attack on his vehicle in Gaza. The Israeli army also noted that this militant was employed at the 'Global Central Kitchen' based in the United States. In this context, the official Palestinian news agency 'Wafa' reported that three employees of this center were killed following an Israeli attack on a 'civilian vehicle' in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Meanwhile, Reuters reported, citing doctors, that at least 32 Palestinians were killed in recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. The report did not specify the number of militants and civilians killed. Additionally, based solely on statements from the group known as 'Gaza Civil Defense' and the official Palestinian news agency 'Wafa', at least seven people were killed in an Israeli attack on a house in downtown Gaza. Gaza Civil Defense also reported that one of its members was killed in attacks in northern Gaza in 'Jabalia'. Thus, the total casualties of this civilian organization since the beginning of the war in Gaza have reached 88. Efforts to revive the Gaza ceasefire Two Hamas officials, a group supported by the Islamic Republic, told Reuters late on Friday, December 1, that Egypt would host a delegation from this Palestinian group in Cairo on Saturday to discuss a ceasefire. The Hamas delegation is expected to meet with Egyptian security officials to discuss ways to reach a ceasefire agreement with Israel. However, due to deep disagreements between the two sides, expectations for the outcomes of these talks are very low.
