Israeli Attacks on Hamas Positions in Khan Younis Leave '16 Dead'

As global concerns continue regarding a direct confrontation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, the Israeli army continued its attacks on Palestinian militant positions in Khan Younis on Monday, August 22. The health authority of Hamas in the Gaza Strip claimed, without distinguishing between military and civilian casualties, that at least 16 people were killed and several others injured as a result of the Israeli attacks in Khan Younis.
