Israeli Company: We Have Developed a Hypersonic Missile Interceptor System

A state-owned Israeli military industries company named 'Rafael' announced on Wednesday that it has developed a new system to counter hypersonic missiles. According to Reuters, this statement was issued a week after the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the production of its first hypersonic missile. The head of Rafael's Advanced Defense Systems told Reuters that Israel's 'Sky Sonic' interceptor system 'enables it to intercept various hypersonic threats' including hypersonic ballistic and cruise missiles.
