Israeli Fighter Jets Strike Targets in Gaza After Four Soldiers Injured

The Israeli army states that after four of its soldiers were injured in an explosion near the Gaza border, its fighter jets attacked targets controlled by Hamas. Zeitoun is located in the southwest of the old city of Gaza. Khan Younis is in the south, and Deir al-Balah is a province and city in the center of the strip. 'Wafa,' a Palestinian news network, also reported that attacks occurred at three locations in eastern Gaza City, damaging several homes, although no injuries were reported. Wafa also reported an explosion in the eastern al-Tuffah area. In recent weeks, other attacks and clashes have occurred in the Gaza Strip, including airstrikes by the Israeli army on several locations in December, which resulted in dozens of injuries during clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip a week later.
