Israeli Forces Target Vehicle Carrying Iranian 'Imam Hussein' Brigade Members in Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that its forces targeted a vehicle carrying members of the so-called 'Imam Hussein' Brigade near 'Naqoura' in southern Lebanon on Saturday, March 2. According to 'Times of Israel', citing the Israeli army, three Iranian forces were involved in rocket fire towards northern Israel. The publication reported that Arab media, citing Lebanese sources, stated that three individuals were killed in the attack on this vehicle on a coastal road. In this context, a security source in Lebanon told Reuters that one of the deceased was a weapons technician. Previously, an Israeli Defense Ministry spokesperson had stated on social media platform 'X' on November 2 that the 'Imam Hussein' Brigade forces had been transferred to southern Lebanon via Iraq and Syria to engage in combat with Israel following the Israel-Hamas war. Afikhaï Adrai added that the command of this brigade is held by an individual named 'Zulfiqar'. Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced on Saturday that its fighter jets targeted Hezbollah positions in Labouna and two other buildings belonging to this group in the town of Blida. Reports indicate the killing of an IRGC commander and 'two Hezbollah members' in an Israeli attack on the Syrian port of Baniyas. Regional reports suggest that the IRGC has given Hezbollah Lebanon the green light to increase attacks on Israel.
