According to him, the 'Iranian regime' has made the world a more dangerous place. He also mentions that the Islamic Republic is systematically violating human rights within the country. He warns that if the Islamic Republic of Iran acquires nuclear weapons, it will have a tool for committing horrific crimes. In another part of the note, Eli Cohen suggests that a firm international stance against the Iranian government, combined with economic and political pressure along with military threats, could change the Islamic Republic's policies both abroad and domestically. This Israeli official concludes his note by calling for an 'end to the world's indifference' and urges action against the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic openly speaks of destroying Israel, and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has repeatedly mentioned the imminent downfall of Israel. Israeli officials have repeatedly warned over the past decade about the Islamic Republic's access to nuclear weapons, considering it a threat to themselves.
