Israel's Security Cabinet Eliminates Gaza Budget from Palestinian Authority

Israel's Security Cabinet has decided to remove all funds allocated for the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian Authority's budget. Consequently, the Gaza government, controlled by Hamas, will have no budget for expenses. The official page of the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Persian announced on Friday, November 3, that Israel is cutting all ties with Gaza. According to this report, Palestinian workers residing in Gaza will also not be allowed to work in Israel. In this context, workers who remained in Israel since the start of the war will be returned to Gaza. Following the attacks by Hamas militants on October 7, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,400 people, mostly civilians, Israel has imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip. This action has been accompanied by airstrikes and subsequent ground operations. According to Hamas, over 8,500 people have been killed due to Israeli military attacks, most of whom are civilians. In response, Israel accuses Hamas of using civilians as human shields. Israel, which has been designated a terrorist group by the U.S. and some other countries, claims that Hamas has a vast network of tunnels beneath Gaza, including under some hospitals, where weapons, food, and other supplies are believed to be stored. Recent news includes the advance of the Israeli army to besiege Gaza City; Hamas rocket attacks; a meeting between Blinken and Netanyahu in Tel Aviv; the U.S. House of Representatives approving a $14.3 billion aid bill for Israel; and Amir-Abdollahian announcing discussions with Ismail Haniyeh, with Israel stating that Haniyeh is flying to Tehran on a private jet.
