Joe Biden's Trip to France for the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy Operation

According to Sullivan, the main theme of Biden's speech at the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday and his speech on Friday at the rocky shores of 'La Pointe du Hoc,' the first line of German fortifications on the English Channel that was captured by the Allies, will be the dangers of isolationism in foreign policy and the necessity of confronting dictatorial regimes. In these speeches, the U.S. President will emphasize NATO's important role in defending the freedom and independence of European countries, reviewing the historical process that began with World War II, the Cold War, and the establishment of the NATO military alliance, up to today when Europe is once again witnessing war.
