Before becoming Vice President of the United States in 2021, Kamala Harris served as a U.S. Senator from 2017 and was previously the Attorney General of California for seven years. In her remarks regarding U.S. foreign policy, Harris promised to strengthen America's relations with NATO allies and stated that support for Ukraine in its war with Russia must continue. She emphasized, 'I will never waver in defending America's security and ideals, because in the enduring struggle between democracy and tyranny, I know where I stand and I know where the United States belongs.' The Democratic presidential nominee also pledged to work towards ending the war in Gaza, which could lead to instability in the Middle East, and stated that she would not hesitate to protect American forces against Iran and other adversaries.
