Khamenei's Representative: Future Sedition Will Begin from Imam's House

Mohammad Ali Mohsenzadeh, the head of the representative office of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the 41st 'Tharallah' Brigade in Kerman, stated that the 'new sedition' will begin from 'Jamaran' and the 'Imam's house', and the idea of returning 'guardianship to the Imam's seditionist house' is being promoted. According to a report from the 'Hamandishi' website on Sunday, January 3, Mohsenzadeh made these remarks in a gathering of Basij forces in the city of Kohbanan in Kerman province. In his speech, this cleric introduced the house of Ruhollah Khomeini as the 'most sacred' house in the Islamic Republic, from where the 'Battle of Jamal' will be launched against 'guardianship'. The Battle of Jamal was fought for the blood vengeance of Uthman's murder among a group of Muslims led by Aisha, the Prophet's wife, against Ali, the Prophet's son-in-law. The representative of the Supreme Leader in the Kerman Corps called the 'future sedition' in Iran 'the sedition of authority' and stated, 'They want to create a new authority and confront it with guardianship.' Mohsenzadeh referred to Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani as the originator of the 'greater sedition', who, by calling Hassan Khomeini 'Ayatollah' and 'Allameh', is trying to return 'guardianship' to the 'Imam's house'. He further added, 'Is guardianship hereditary? The guardianship system is not a royal and monarchical system that is inherited from father to son.' In another part of his speech, Mohsenzadeh explicitly stated that Hashemi Rafsanjani is 'the axis and pillar of the future sedition', just as he was 'the pillar of the past sedition'. This conservative cleric also criticized Hassan Khomeini, saying that care must be taken regarding where 'the camel of Jamal has laid down in the Imam's house'. The representative of the Supreme Leader in the Kerman Corps also attacked Mohammad Khatami, the former president of Iran, and leveled multiple accusations against him. Mohsenzadeh also stated that Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi are 'corrupt on earth' and that the punishment for such individuals is 'execution'. These unprecedented remarks from one of Khamenei's representatives in Kerman province have received widespread attention on local websites in the province. On December 2 of this year, Mohsenzadeh had also stated that Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani was 'the axis of sedition', and Hussein Marashi is 'the mafia of wealth and power'. On December 19, Mohsenzadeh continued his attacks against Hashemi Rafsanjani, stating that America's 'hope' lies with 'influential elites' and some officials who are 'paving the way' and hold 'the secrets of the system'. The presence of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Hassan Khomeini in the elections of the Assembly of Experts on March 7 has led to increased attacks by conservatives against these two individuals. Conservative critics of Hashemi and Khomeini claim that they are trying to change the future composition of the Assembly of Experts to limit the powers of the Supreme Leader.
