Launch of a New Campaign to Eliminate the Islamic Republic's Influence Networks in Europe

The non-profit organization "United Against Nuclear Iran" announced on Tuesday, January 8, the launch of a new campaign aimed at exposing and dismantling the extensive influence networks of the Islamic Republic of Iran throughout Europe. In a statement, "United Against Nuclear Iran" said that this campaign, building on previous successes in Germany, Sweden, and the UK, seeks to reveal and contain the influence and operations of European institutions linked to Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and its affiliated organizations. The organization points out that over the past three decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the leadership of Ali Khamenei, has established covert infrastructures of soft power in Europe. According to the organization's statement, the created network operates under the guise of "religious and cultural organizations," but is actively engaged in promoting Islamic extremism linked to the IRGC, anti-Semitism, and facilitating Iran-backed terrorism on European soil. "United Against Nuclear Iran" states that these activities target European cities and citizens, particularly Iranian immigrants and the Jewish community. The new campaign to uncover this network will begin this month in the UK and will expand to other major European capitals later this year. The "United Against Nuclear Iran" center claims that it seeks to dismantle Khamenei's influence networks across Europe using new evidence and information and to expel individuals directly linked to the Iranian regime and the extremist activities of the IRGC. The "Islamic Center of England" is one of the entities under scrutiny. Members of the board of trustees of this center were previously dismissed by the Charity Commission in the UK in June 2023. The "Islamic Students Association," which operates under Khamenei's office and has a branch in "Hammersmith" London, is another center mentioned by "United Against Nuclear Iran" on its special campaign page. This Islamic association hosted an online meeting with at least eight IRGC commanders, during which they glorified terrorism and promoted extreme anti-Semitism, urging British students to join their "apocalyptic war" against the Jews; a topic that led to the Charity Commission's investigation in the UK.
