Lottery for Green Card - 2002-08-26 To participate in the Green Card lottery, which is held annually by the United States government for immigrant acceptance, applicants must write their details in the following order on a piece of paper and send it to the address: DV Program, Kentucky Consular Center, 2002 Visa Crest, Migrate, KY 41902-2000, U.S.A. The most recent photos of the applicant and their spouse and children (including biological and stepchildren) must be attached, even if the children are not accompanying. Children who are citizens or residents of the USA are exempt from this requirement. The name and date of birth of each family member must be clearly written on the back of the photo. Family group photos will not be accepted. Each family member's photo must be separate. If there is not enough space on the application page for the photos, you can attach the photos with tape on the back of the page. If the photos do not meet the specified requirements, the application will be rejected: Photo size: square, one and a half by one and a half inches (37 mm) or two by two inches (50 mm) with the details of each person written on the back of the photo. The applicant, their spouse, and children must look directly at the camera. The head of the person in the photo must cover at least fifty percent of the photo. The background of the photo must be light. The background should not be dark or busy. If the photo is not clear, the application will be rejected. Photos with sunglasses or similar items that reduce the clarity of the photo are not acceptable. The use of headscarves and shawls is not allowed unless it is for religious reasons, and in that case, it should not cover any part of the face. No type of hat or head covering that is not religious in nature should be used when taking the photo, and in the latter case, it should not cover any part of the face.
