Media: FBI Ignored Request to Keep New Investigations Related to Clinton Confidential

According to these reports, Loretta Lynch, the U.S. Attorney General, deemed the public disclosure of these investigations inappropriate due to potential consequences for one of the candidates just weeks before the election. Consequently, the Attorney General requested that James Comey, the FBI Director, refrain from actions that could affect the election outcome. However, despite this request, on Friday, Mr. Comey announced in a letter to Congress that the FBI was reviewing the case related to Mrs. Clinton's emails and her use of a personal server.
