The Iranian newspaper Iran reported on the 'Meeting of Aviation Giants in Tehran,' stating: 'On Sunday, the Iranian aviation industry witnessed the largest international event in this sector, with 150 representatives from 20 countries attending the International Aviation Investment Conference (CAPA) in Tehran.' According to the newspaper, this two-day conference opened with an agenda focused on 'removing banking obstacles in the aviation industry, developing international and domestic flight networks, expanding airports, and leasing and purchasing aircraft,' featuring investors from 150 major aviation companies worldwide, including 'Airbus, Bombardier, and Embraer,' at 'Imam Khomeini Airport City.' 'Peter Harbison, CEO of CAPA, along with major aviation companies from the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Brazil, and China, are present at the two-day CAPA conference in Tehran.' The Iran newspaper also reported that Abbas Akhoundi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development, emphasized during his speech at the meeting that 'Iran's share of the global aviation market must exceed its current status,' asserting that 'there are currently no obstacles to the development of this industry in the country.' Regarding whether the increase in international flights over Iran is related to regional turmoil and the extent of progress in international flights, he stated: 'The number of flights has grown by 100% compared to the period before and after the JCPOA, rising from 500 flights to over 1,000 flights. This increase in flights is due to the security of Iranian airspace and the economic viability of flights over Iran.' The newspaper Hamdeli reported with the headline 'Controversies of a Secret Trip' that 'Senator James Dabakis visited Iran at the invitation of an academic group to expand business and increase trade exchanges and discussions,' and now, following his return to the U.S., Javad Karimi Qoddusi from the 'worried representatives' has mentioned 'the plan to question the Minister of Intelligence' and stated: 'I will raise this issue in next week's National Security Commission meeting for review.' The representative of Mashhad in the 10th Parliament emphasized that 'the American senator's trip to Iran occurred as part of the Westerners' infiltration project into our country,' stating: 'From the information I have gathered, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad also held a scientific meeting in recent days with foreign guests, among whom were individuals affiliated with Zionists and Jews,' and 'research has shown that Westerners are trying to exert the most influence in the country through the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.' The newspaper reported that while Senator James Dabakis stated after his trip to Iran that 'the people of Iran love Americans,' Aladdin Boroujerdi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the 10th Parliament, revealed that this commission was unaware of the Utah senator's trip to Iran but stated: 'The fact that after 37 years of the Islamic Revolution, the main slogan of the Iranian people is still 'Death to America' indicates that our people do not love Americans.' The Hamdeli newspaper also noted that 'historical events' regarding such trips show that 'Iran adopts a complex policy regarding relations with the West. On one hand, it repeatedly engages in anti-American and anti-Western discourse at the public level, but on the other hand, in line with national interests, it concludes negotiations with the West, specifically the U.S., and for this reason, 'perhaps Senator Dabakis's trip to Iran is a sign of broader discussions between Iran and the U.S.' Meanwhile, newspapers close to the principlists have published the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic during a meeting with the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as their main headlines. The newspaper Javan quoted Ayatollah Khamenei as saying: 'Absolute distrust of America is the result of rationality and experience,' and 'negotiating with America not only has no benefit but also has drawbacks, and this has been argued to high-ranking officials in the country, and they had no response to refute it.' The newspaper Vatan-e-Emruz, close to the Stability Front, also quoted Ayatollah Khamenei as saying: 'Some officials have stated that the removal of military threats and war is due to certain actions, which is incorrect, as the only factor in removing military threats has been and will be military and defensive power.' The newspaper Javan, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, simultaneously criticized former President Mohammad Khatami for his statements regarding 'lifting the house arrest' of Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi, and Zahra Rahnavard, stating: 'The reformist president still considers the leaders of the sedition justified in creating that massive turmoil.' This newspaper wrote: 'Last week, the reformist president (Mohammad Khatami) claimed during a meeting with members of the Islamic Teachers' Association that Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi would not seek revenge if their house arrest were lifted, and society would calm down,' emphasizing that 'there may be concerns regarding lifting the house arrest or a more open political space from the leadership, and we must go and listen to these concerns, talk, and help alleviate them.' The newspaper Javan wrote: 'The only part of the former president's speech that slightly differs from the past is the attempt to distance himself from those who made structural-breaking slogans during the sedition,' as Mohammad Khatami stated that 'reformists have maintained their distance from those who, in his words, 'make structural-breaking slogans in the name of reformism.' Abbas Hajinajari, the author of this newspaper's note, emphasized that what is 'not seen in Mohammad Khatami's statements is accountability for this demand that he still considers himself and other sedition leaders justified in creating that turmoil and that with these statements he is only trying to assure officials that nothing will happen if the house arrest is lifted and the space is opened, and they are not seeking revenge,' but 'this sentence of his indicates that the system still owes the sedition leaders, and they are granting the system a concession that if freed, they will not have any demands.' The newspaper Arman reported on 'the annual birth of 30,000 disabled newborns in Iran,' quoting Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpay as saying: 'Every year, 25 to 30 thousand disabled newborns are born in the country, and this figure must be minimized.' 'The dissuasion of Ahmadinejad's candidacy' is the front-page headline of the Sharq newspaper regarding 'Mehdi Fazeli's narrative of presidential election speculation' and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic.
