Meeting with Zafar Ali Moqimi

"Meeting" is a brief narrative about those whose lives are confined to a four-walled space called prison. In each section of this program, we visit one of those who are referred to as 'political-prisoners' by human rights organizations. He is a PhD graduate in metallurgy from Amir Kabir University, who has been spending his time in prison since March 2018, in Greater Tehran Prison, also known as Fashafouyeh. He has previously been arrested multiple times and released after a while, but this time he may not be released anytime soon. He has been sentenced to 7 years in prison. Zafar Ali Moqimi is 36 years old and resides in Tehran. He was arrested during the clashes last winter on Pasdaran Street in Tehran, where confrontations occurred between Gonabadi dervishes and police forces, resulting in the arrest of hundreds of dervishes.
