Mohammad Moein's Warning Following Continued Hunger Strike of Narges Mansouri: Her Life is in Danger

Mohammad Moein, a lawyer in Iran, warned on Sunday that the life of political prisoner Narges Mansouri is in danger due to her ongoing hunger strike. He wrote on the social media platform X, "Narges Mansouri's health condition has deteriorated today on the fifteenth day of her hunger strike, and her life is at risk." In his message, Moein emphasized that the responsibility for the health of this prisoner held in Evin Prison lies with the entire regime, with Ali Khamenei at its helm. Narges Mansouri has been on hunger strike since May 23 in protest against the court's decision regarding her case and is demanding the removal of obstacles to her release from prison as well as the cancellation of the order to seize her mother's house. She is one of the signatories of the letter known as the "14 Statement" calling for a transition from the Islamic Republic and the resignation of Ali Khamenei. In late December 2023, she also went on hunger strike in protest against the "seizure of her mother's house."
