Molavi Abdolhamid: First, the people's hunger should be satisfied, then unveil advanced weapons

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan criticized the officials of the Islamic Republic, saying: "We are happy about the unveiling of advanced weapons, but we would be happier if the people's hunger were satisfied." Abdolhamid Ismailzahi, known as Molavi Abdolhamid, stated on Friday, June 9: "Why do domestic policies not change like foreign policies? This parliament and government have shown that they do not respond. We are well-wishers. We lament because the people lament... Our greatest pains are national pains, not regional pains... Our hearts ache to see our people, with their resources, forced to engage in border trading or fuel smuggling for bread." He added: "If I were in your place, when I heard the people's voice, I would step down from my seat and put myself at the disposal of the wise of the nation and the people. Iran is not a country of ethnicity and religion. This country is not even Islam. This country belongs to everyone... This is my complaint. And I repeat again. Religious thoughts do not work. This country is neither Shia nor Sunni. We should have human thoughts and think at higher levels." He also referred to the uniformity of the government, stating: "The parliament, government, and all organizations have become uniform, but this uniformity has not worked." Molavi Abdolhamid also said: "More important than foreign relations and changes in foreign policies are domestic policies. Spending for other nations is not necessary; spending for the people of Iran and building Iran is essential. The people of Iran, you and we must build Iran. This is the greatest wisdom that the Iranian nation should be full and content. I do not accept this policy of being alongside other nations while ignoring the Iranian nation." He added: "We are happy about the unveiling of advanced weapons, but we would be happier if the people's hunger were satisfied." The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps unveiled the Fattah missile on Tuesday, June 6, in a ceremony attended by Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to IRGC officials, this hypersonic missile can neutralize "all air defense systems" and has "excellent maneuverability and very high speed" with a range of "1400 kilometers." This action faced widespread critical reactions and condemnation from several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Israel.
