Mysterious Death of Iranian Women's National Volleyball Player in Neka

Faiza Ghazipour, an eighteen-year-old volleyball player from Neka and a member of Iran's women's national volleyball team, died after falling from the fifth floor of a building. According to the Mazand Sport news agency, on March 2, Hadi Nasiri, the police chief of Neka, reported that Ms. Ghazipour's semi-conscious body was initially taken to Neka Hospital; however, due to the severity of her injuries, she was transferred to a hospital in Sari, where efforts to save the young athlete ultimately failed. The police chief mentioned a suspect identified as 'W.F.' who was arrested shortly after based on evidence found in Faiza Ghazipour's belongings. According to Faiza's uncle, the suspect had other criminal cases and had resolved them through various means. He described the suspect as a seller of unauthorized drugs and supplements, which he claimed was how he became acquainted with Ms. Ghazipour. The uncle stated that the suspect contacted Faiza and asked her to come inside the building due to having a disabled child. The family of Faiza Ghazipour expressed their only request was that their rights not be violated and that if someone committed a crime and is financially well-off, the law should stand against them rather than beside them.
