Names of Players Called Up for National Football Team Camp for Return Match Against North Korea - 2003-11-07

Under the direction of Branko Ivanković, head coach of Iran's senior national football team, 26 players have been called up for the national team camp for the return match against North Korea. According to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), these players must introduce themselves to the coaches at the national teams' camp by 3 PM on Saturday, November 8, and training will begin at 4 PM. The names of the invited players are as follows: Ebrahim Mirzapour, Seyyed Mehdi Rahmati, Rahman Ahmadi, Mehdi Vaez, Yahya Gol Mohammadi, Sohrab Bakhtiyari Zadeh, Mohammad Nasrati, Jalal Kamali Mofrad, Ebrahim Taghipour, Rahman Rezaei, Alireza Vahedi Nikbakht, Hossein Kabbi, Mehdi Amirabadi, Mehrzad Madanchi, Hamed Kavyanpour, Iman Mobali, Pirouz Ghorbani, Edmond Bezik, Amir Vaziri, Javad Nekounam, Ali Daei, Moharram Navidkia, Ali Karimi, Mehdi Mahdavikia, Arash Borhani, and Ali Samereh. Hossein Faraki explained the reasons for the call-up of Samereh, Borhani, and Vaez at this stage of the camps to ISNA, stating that the acceptable performance of these players in league matches and Branko's positive opinion about them led to their invitation to the national team at this stage of the camps.
