National Council of Resistance Claims 'Agents' of the Islamic Republic Attacked Supporters' Association of Mojahedin in Sweden

The secretariat of the "National Council of Resistance of Iran" announced that intelligence agents of the Islamic Republic attacked the building of the "Supporters' Association" of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization in Sweden with "several Molotov cocktails." As of the time of this report, there has been no independent confirmation of this "attack" by Voice of America. The website of the secretariat of the "National Council of Resistance of Iran" stated on Monday that agents of the Islamic Republic's "intelligence" carried out "the first terrorist act against the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization after the presidency of Pezeshkian, at three a.m. on Monday, September 19, they attacked the building of a supporters' association of this organization in the Spånga area in northern Stockholm with several Molotov cocktails." According to this secretariat, no one was harmed in this "attack," but "several windows of the building were broken and the outer wall" caught "fire," which was extinguished by residents, and the police also arrived at the scene. The report also referenced other incidents, including that on May 30 of last year, "a building belonging to supporters of the National Council of Resistance in northern Paris was attacked with six gunshots and incendiary materials," and prior to that, on December 4, 2023, the council's office in Berlin was "attacked by terrorists with incendiary materials." Voice of America cannot confirm or deny the veracity of the incidents mentioned in this report. The National Council of Resistance stated that "embassies and official and unofficial representations of the clerical regime and intelligence agents and the Revolutionary Guards in European countries are involved in designing and executing terrorist operations," calling for the "closure of these centers and the expulsion of agents" of the Islamic Republic and urging Swedish authorities to "arrest the perpetrators and masterminds" of this attack and demanding "their prosecution and the publication and disclosure of all details and documents for public awareness."
