Netanyahu: Another Attack on Israel Will Paralyze Iran's Economy

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that if the Islamic Republic of Iran attacks Israel for the third time, its economy will be paralyzed. In a video message in English directed at the Iranian people on Wednesday, November 13, he stated that the second missile attack by the Islamic Republic on October 1 cost Iran $2.3 billion. He continued by questioning whether the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic has informed the Iranian people about the cost of the recent attack involving hundreds of missiles. Netanyahu added, 'This was your precious investment that the Islamic Republic wasted attacking Israel, and the damage from that attack in Israel was negligible. This money could have added billions of dollars to Iran's transportation or education budget. Khamenei has plundered money that was supposed to belong to the nation.' He declared that the Iranian government is obsessed with destroying Israel instead of building Iran, adding, 'Another attack on Israel will paralyze Iran's economy.' In the Persian subtitles of Netanyahu's video, it is stated: 'Another attack on Israel will be very detrimental to Iran's economy.' In another part of this video message, Netanyahu said, 'The world has only seen a small part of Israel's capabilities. But Khamenei fears one thing more than Israel: you, the Iranian people. That is why the Islamic Republic regime spends so much time and money to destroy your hopes and suppress your dreams.' He urged the Iranian people not to let their dreams die and added, 'I am sure that one day Iran will achieve freedom, and the people of Israel and Iran will build a future full of prosperity and peace; a future that both Israel and Iran deserve.' The Israeli Prime Minister, pronouncing in Persian 'Zan, Zendegi, Azadi' (Woman, Life, Freedom), told the Iranian people to know that Israel and other free countries stand with them. He also emphasized, 'Imagine if all the costs of Iran's pointless wars were not there; how different the lives of the Iranian people would be; global education, beautiful roads, advanced hospitals, and clean water.' He stated that Israel has the most advanced desalination technology and would be happy to help rebuild Iran's dilapidated water infrastructure and many other things; however, the Khamenei regime has taken that opportunity from you. He continued, 'I know that you, the Iranian people, do not want war; I do not want it either. The people of Israel do not want it either. Only one faction wants it: the dictators of Tehran. But the good news is that they are getting weaker every day, and Israel is getting stronger every day.' In response to Iran's missile attack on October 1, Israel targeted some missile and air defense facilities of the Islamic Republic on November 5. Iranian officials confirmed the deaths of 'four military personnel and one civilian' in these attacks but stated that the Israeli strikes had 'limited and minor damage'; however, international media, citing satellite images and expert analyses, reported serious and effective damage to some Iranian military facilities. Israeli Defense Minister: We have the opportunity to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities. Earlier, the possibility of an Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic's oil and nuclear infrastructure was raised, but Western media reported that Netanyahu, in coordination with the U.S. and considering their concerns, did not attack Iran's nuclear and oil facilities. Meanwhile, Israel Katz, the new Israeli Defense Minister, said on Monday that following the recent attack on the Islamic Republic's military targets, Iran's nuclear facilities have become more vulnerable than ever and 'the opportunity to strike' these facilities has arisen. The United States and Israel have consistently emphasized that they will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. On April 14, Iran also fired hundreds of drones and missiles at Israel in response to an attack attributed to Israel on the Iranian 'consulate' building in Damascus, which resulted in the deaths of several senior commanders of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. In response to Iran's first attack, Israel targeted only one air defense site in Isfahan. Iranian officials initially denied this attack, but after several months, Aziz Jafari, a senior commander of the IRGC, confirmed that Israel had fired missiles at the Isfahan base.
