Netanyahu in Gaza: We Will Continue the War Against Hamas Until Victory

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, visited his soldiers in northern Gaza on Sunday, December 5, during the third day of a temporary ceasefire with Hamas and for the first time since the current war began. In a video released by Netanyahu's office, he stated, "We are making every effort to bring our hostages back, and ultimately we will return all of them." The Israeli Prime Minister continued, "We have three objectives in this war: to eliminate Hamas, to return all our hostages, and to ensure that Gaza will not become a threat to the state of Israel again." Netanyahu emphasized, "We will continue until the end, until victory. Nothing will stop us, and we believe we have the strength, power, will, and determination to achieve all the objectives of the war and we will have it." According to a statement from Netanyahu's office, he visited one of the Hamas tunnels discovered by Israeli soldiers. The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, the National Security Advisor, the Prime Minister's Military Secretary, and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army accompanied Netanyahu on this visit. The International Red Cross received the "third group" of hostages from Hamas. An Iraqi militia group affiliated with the Islamic Republic stated: We adhere to the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. Hamas claims that four of its commanders were killed. Israel received the third list of hostages for release. On the second day of exchange; 17 Hamas hostages and 39 Palestinian prisoners were released. Biden: I will continue efforts to free all hostages.
