Netanyahu: Israel's Air Superiority is Our Security Foundation; Warning to the Islamic Republic and Turkey

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, on Wednesday, December 24, at a ceremony attended by Israeli Air Force pilots, referred to his country's military achievements following the terrorist attack on October 7, and expressed gratitude for the cooperation of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in attacks on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities. According to the news website 'i24 News', Netanyahu emphasized that during the 'Lion's Dawn' operation, Israeli aircraft penetrated as far as Tehran and destroyed two major threats from the Islamic Republic - namely its nuclear program and thousands of ballistic missiles. He stated that the Israeli Air Force is now operating with complete freedom across the Middle East and is prepared for any escalation. Netanyahu labeled the Islamic Republic as the leader of the 'Axis of Evil', which, along with extremist Sunni forces, primarily the Muslim Brotherhood, seeks the destruction of Israel. He warned that Hamas in Gaza has rejected disarmament, Hezbollah in Lebanon remains a threat, the Houthis in Yemen are active, and the Islamic Republic remains the main danger. He emphasized that, nonetheless, Israel is not seeking conflict but is vigilant. The Israeli government allocated $110 billion over the next decade for domestic weapons production, including air platforms, to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers. Netanyahu deemed this action essential for maintaining battlefield superiority and stated that Israeli engineers are developing advanced weapons. Netanyahu, while thanking Donald Trump for military cooperation against the Islamic Republic, including the attack on nuclear facilities and defending Israeli airspace, described the war as a 'rebirth war' that has turned Israel into a regional and global power. He added that this power brings countries closer to Israel and expands regional peace. The U.S. military attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities in Iran occurred early Sunday, June 21, 1404, as part of a surprise air and missile operation. In this attack, the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan sites were targeted by bombers and cruise missiles, with the U.S. government declaring its goal as 'destroying enrichment capacity and stopping Iran's nuclear threat.' The U.S. President has consistently emphasized the success of this attack and the complete destruction of the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities.
