Netanyahu: Trump and I Share a Common Goal Regarding the Islamic Republic

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in his speech at the 'Managers Conference' in Jerusalem, stated that he and U.S. President Donald Trump are working together to transform the Middle East. Netanyahu referred to his early this month meeting with the U.S. President at the White House as 'one of the most important meetings' between an Israeli Prime Minister and a U.S. President. According to the Times of Israel, he said, 'We are transforming the Middle East.' Netanyahu claimed that the Israeli army has 'destroyed a significant part of Hamas' and added, 'We have not yet finished the job, but we will. Israel will destroy Hamas as a military force.' He supported what he called a 'new and bold vision' for the future of Gaza, stating that the people of this strip should have the option to leave if they wish. The Israeli Prime Minister further emphasized that 'there will be no forced expulsion, no ethnic cleansing, but a choice for those who want a different future.' Trump has publicly called for the permanent relocation of two million residents of Gaza outside the region, which most observers deem impossible, and most Arab allies have refrained from accepting it. Netanyahu reiterated his promise to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, stating that this goal aligns with Trump's policies and administration. He said, 'Iran's GDP has seen almost no growth, while its leaders have spent tens of billions of dollars on Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. They (Iranian leaders) do nothing for their people, yet remain the world's largest supporter of terrorism.' Referring to Israel's military operations in recent months, Netanyahu stated, 'Today, everyone recognizes Israel's power. The alliance between the U.S. and Israel is stronger than ever, and the Jewish people stand more resilient than ever.' Marco Rubio stated that the Iranian government is behind all terrorist actions in the region. The deadline set by Trump for Hamas has ended; Netanyahu is convening a security meeting.
