The new version of Android, named Android O, will soon be activated on flagship Android phones worldwide. This new version will be available to users for the first time on the new Google Pixel model. Another change in Android O is the display of notifications on application icons. The picture-in-picture feature is one of the most important changes in the new Android, allowing users to make video calls while watching a video on their phone; in this case, the video call or playing video will turn into a small box in the corner of the screen. Additionally, while on a video call, users can also activate other applications simultaneously. However, this feature is usable only with the development of next-generation mobile processors, and if installed on older phones, there is a risk of processor overheating and device malfunction. Greater integration in settings is another feature of this new Android, as many settings will be categorized more appropriately. Disabling notifications from a specific application is another characteristic of Android O. When users receive many new notifications from one application, they can use this feature to resolve the issue. In this situation, users can disable notifications from only one application without losing notifications from other applications, which can also increase device speed. In the new Android O software series, artificial intelligence has been further developed. Smart selection of names is one of the new capabilities of Android O. This Android intelligently identifies and selects different names and addresses and recommends the best application for finding, for example, an address to the user. This factor increases the speed of work with mobile phones. One of Android's weaknesses compared to iOS is its lower security; however, Google is now trying to address this with the Google Play Protect feature, which scans all applications to find security vulnerabilities in the phone. With this new feature, applications containing security violations or problems cannot harm the phone. This new Android also aims to better protect users' privacy based on this capability. With the Treble feature, the new Android will provide a better platform for regular updates for all phones. This update will protect the phone against security vulnerabilities and can gradually increase software capabilities. Google will launch its new generation of phones with Android O in early autumn this year. In this phone, the display bezel has been reduced compared to the Pixel model. It seems that Google is also considering increasing the screen-to-body ratio of its phones. The Pixel 2 display is OLED, and this technology will enhance display quality. The resolution of this phone is QHD, and the displays required for the Pixel are supplied by LG. The hardware of this phone will use Qualcomm's most advanced processor. Various technology websites around the world have reported the use of Snapdragon 836 in this phone. If this information is correct, the Pixel 2 will be the first phone to use this processor. Currently, most flagship phones worldwide use Snapdragon 835. Other technical specifications of this phone include 4 GB of RAM. The Adreno 540 graphics processor is expected to be used in the Pixel, which can run all Android games.
