The Telegram channel 'Amirkabir Newsletter' reported on the case-making against 30 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tehran. According to this report, following a physical attack and insults from the 'Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tehran' towards the students, these 30 students were summoned to the disciplinary committee on charges of participating in a protest gathering after the incident. As reported by 'Amirkabir Newsletter', a month after this incident, not only did the dean face no accountability, but 'contrary to the security office's promises', no responsibility was accepted. In November of this year, the release of a video showing Gholamreza Jamshidiha, the dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, attacking students while using vulgar language sparked widespread reactions. In response to this incident, students held a protest gathering, but the dean defended his actions in an interview with the 'Rokna' news agency. He attributed the altercation to the 'inappropriate atmosphere' of the university, stating, 'Perhaps I said something in anger, and the students asked me to apologize! I said I owe you no apology.'
