North Korea Launches Missiles Again; US Nuclear Submarine Arrives in South Korea

Meanwhile, following the 'defection of an American soldier' to North Korea and the recent test of the 'Hwasong-18' intercontinental ballistic missile by North Korea, a new wave of tensions is forming in the Far East. Previously, the US, Japan, and South Korea issued a joint statement declaring that North Korea's intercontinental ballistic missile test is a 'violation' of multiple United Nations resolutions and poses a 'threat to peace and stability' in the region. In this joint statement, North Korea was urged to cease its illegal actions and return to the negotiating table. Following the test of the Hwasong-18 intercontinental ballistic missile by North Korea, state media in the country announced that the launch of this missile, which constitutes the core of North Korea's nuclear strike force, serves as a warning to the US and other enemies of Pyongyang.
