One Arrested in Connection with Suspicious Packages in the U.S.

Reports indicate that one person has been arrested in connection with suspicious explosive packages in Florida. It is said that Jeff Sessions held a press conference at 2:30 PM on Friday in Washington. Police have transferred the suspect's 'van' to a research center in Plantation, Florida. Fox News reports that the arrested individual is a 56-year-old man with a criminal record. CNN also states that the arrested individual is named Cesar Sayoc, who was known to Florida police due to his criminal history. Meanwhile, media outlets report that the arrested man is an extremist right-winger. So far, 12 suspicious packages have been discovered, and on Friday, responsible authorities in the U.S. uncovered two more suspicious packages sent to Senator Cory Booker and James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence. The twelfth package was also sent to James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, and addressed to CNN.
