ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP): The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Tuesday held a cordial meeting with Dr. Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during his official visit to Pakistan.The meeting reflected the longstanding friendship and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran, underscoring the shared commitment of both countries to further strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, science, research, innovation, and higher learning.The Federal Minister warmly welcomed the distinguished Iranian delegation and expressed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for the historic and close ties between the two neighboring countries. Both sides acknowledged the growing momentum in bilateral educational cooperation and reaffirmed their resolve to expand institutional partnerships for the mutual benefit of students, researchers, and academic communities.During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the successful implementation of existing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Pakistani and Iranian higher education institutions, including the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
