Paradox with Kambeiz Hosseini; Interview with Touka Nistani

This week's guest is the esteemed Touka Nistani. Mr. Nistani is the older brother of another Mr. Nistani, whose father is also a poet! Although Touka once drew a 'black, suffering athlete' alongside a sketch of my face, I have always admired his dark and bitter humorous perspective on the world around him. Sometimes I think the humor in his serious work must be similar to what I try to achieve in my program, but Touka has more experience than I do, and I am still in the process of learning! Conversations with Touka are always interesting for me because he is an artist who answers all questions sincerely and from the heart, and he never intends to twist my words. This week, I invited Touka to help me keep the program afloat amidst this national tragedy. My main question for him is how a program with a 'satirical' or 'bitter humor' approach can continue to exist in the midst of a disaster when the country is grappling with a tragedy.
