Possible Delay in Hostage Exchange; Both Sides Express 'Concern' Over List of Individuals to be Released Today

An informed source told Reuters that Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas have expressed their 'concern' regarding the list of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners set to be released on the last day of a four-day ceasefire on Monday. The official, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that Qatari mediators are working with both Israel and Hamas to resolve issues and prevent delays. The Hamas militant group announced its interest in extending the ceasefire. Israel had previously proposed that for every 10 additional hostages released, it would agree to extend the ceasefire by one more day and release three times the number of hostages in Palestinian prisoners. The official explained, 'There is a minor issue with today's lists. The Qataris are in contact with both sides to resolve it and prevent delays.' Israel had earlier stated that it received the final list of hostages designated for release overnight. Those handed over by Hamas on Sunday included 13 Israelis, three Thais, and one Russian national, and the International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed that they were successfully transferred from Gaza.
