Prince Reza Pahlavi Warns Ali Khamenei to Stop 'Folly' and Not Lead Iran into War

On April 14, 2023, Prince Reza Pahlavi issued a warning to Ali Khamenei, the 'leader of the regime,' via a post on social media platform X, urging him to cease his 'foolishness' and not to lead Iran into war with his 'expansionist' and 'treacherous' policies. Pahlavi stated, 'The Islamic Republic is a crisis-generating and crisis-ridden regime. For 45 years, this anti-Iranian regime has imposed war, crisis, and sanctions on the Iranian people.' He cautioned Khamenei against the potential for an attack by the Islamic Republic and its proxy terrorists on Israeli territory, emphasizing that Khamenei's war is not a war for Iran or its people. He noted that 'a large portion of the country's military forces and their families are also opposed to entering such a war' and called on military and security forces loyal to Iran, not the anti-Iranian regime, to stand against Khamenei's 'apocalyptic madness.' He concluded by stressing that 'today is the time for national solidarity to save the homeland,' urging every patriotic Iranian to openly oppose Khamenei's warmongering. In response to threats from the Islamic Republic against Israel, U.S. President Joe Biden warned Iranian leaders, 'Don't do it; the United States is committed to defending Israel, and you will not succeed.' Biden also indicated that an attack by the Islamic Republic on Israeli interests would happen sooner or later. This statement comes as numerous global news agencies reported on the imminent threat of an Iranian attack on Israeli interests. Travel restrictions to the Middle East have increased amid rising tensions, with reports indicating that Israel is prepared to counter potential retaliatory attacks from the Islamic Republic.
