Protest by a Group of Iranians in London Against the Metropolitan Police; Address the Actions of the Islamic Republic's Aggressors

A group of Iranian opponents of the Islamic Republic in Britain gathered on Thursday, June 1, in front of the Metropolitan Police office in London to protest the negligence of law enforcement regarding the violent behavior of supporters of the Islamic Republic. According to a reporter from VOA, this group of Iranians expressed their dissatisfaction with the weak performance of the London police in identifying and arresting the attackers at the protest against the memorial ceremony for Ebrahim Raisi, stating: 'Despite serious injuries to the protesters, the police have taken no action to gather reports on the conflict and have left the investigation process unresolved.' Vahid Abadari, a participant in the protest, told VOA that 'the actions taken by supporters of the Islamic Republic and their physical confrontation with government opponents are certainly criminal acts, and a country that claims to support human rights must be accountable for why no action has been taken to prepare a report or arrest the attackers.' Navid, who was injured in the June 4 attack by supporters of the Islamic Republic in London and is hospitalized, stated in an exclusive interview with VOA from his hospital bed on June 6: 'Despite severe physical injuries, I have a high spirit and will continue my fight against the Islamic Republic as soon as I am discharged from the hospital.'
