Queen Farah Pahlavi: I consider the resilience of the mourning mothers a guiding light for the freedom of Iran

Queen Farah Pahlavi, on the evening of Sunday, January 6, sent a message on social media addressed to the mourning mothers in Iran, stating, "I admire your quest for justice, mothers of Iran who carry the grief of your children forever in your hearts, and I consider your resilience and steadfastness a guiding light for the freedom of Iran." She added, "You, like the steadfast cypress, have turned the memory of your beloved martyrs into a loud voice against forgetfulness and have not allowed your tears to bring joy to Zahak and his oppressive regime; your pain is my pain, and your grief is my grief. As the streets of Iran testify, the memory of your children is more alive than ever, and they are now the children of the Iranian nation." Queen Farah Pahlavi continued her message, saying, "In this path, remain steadfast, and strive to keep alive not only the quest for justice for the unjustly shed blood of your loved ones but also the demands and lofty ideals of those brave heroes of the homeland." She noted that "although I am not physically present at your gathering, see me alongside you; beside every Iranian whose grieving heart beats for freedom, for justice, and for Iran. I am proud of you and have no doubt that with your efforts and the aware youth of our homeland, the light of Iran will triumph over the darkness of the evil one."
