Radio Farda's Radio League Extended

The second Radio Farda Comedy Radio League is currently underway, and the deadline for participation has been extended to September 1 (10th of Shahrivar). The first season of this league was held in the fall and winter of 1394 (2015), under the name "Post-Farda Radio League," produced and hosted by Farshid Manafi from Radio Farda. In this article, we will try to explain the conditions and results of participating in this league in simple language. What should I do to participate in the league? The most important task is to create a maximum 5-minute comedy radio item. The writing, acting, performance, and mixing and arrangement of this comedy item with effects and music must be done by the participant. In this comedy item, you can joke about political, social, sports, artistic news, etc., or choose a topic of your choice and approach your subject thematically. If you think you can create a comedy radio show, definitely do it. You can also use the voices of your friends and acquaintances in creating the radio show. In any case, you are free in your choice of form. Only the auditory and comedic nature is mandatory, and the rest is up to you. Who can participate in the league? Of course, like everyone else, we are fans of the youth. However, we do not intend to impose an age limit for participants at this stage. But there are indeed limitations that we have no role in creating. The most important limitation is residency or the ability to reside in Europe. Let’s be frank: unfortunately, we cannot provide travel visas to Europe (Schengen) for the winners of the league. Considering that the first-place winner of this league will likely have the opportunity to be hired by Radio Farda, those who have permanent or temporary residency in Europe can definitely participate in this league. Additionally, those who hold non-European passports (holders of passports from countries like the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.) that allow them to travel to Europe without a visa can also participate in this radio league. I am a student in Europe; can I participate? If you are a student in the European Union, you likely have temporary residency in the European country where you are studying. So yes, in this case, you can definitely participate. What do I need to send to participate in this league? The most important part is the audio file of the comedy radio item you create for us. Be sure to attach your photo ID work-educational resume to the email. The last thing you must send us is proof of residency, a scanned version of your residency card or visa, or the relevant passport. All of these should be sent in the form of an email with the subject "Radio League of Thursday Station" to the email address [email protected]. The winners of this round will be a maximum of 4 people, just like the previous round. These individuals will be invited on a several-day trip to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, to visit Radio Farda and the studio of the programs. After this, these individuals (or some of them) will be invited to a 3-month internship and will gain experience and undergo professional and educational radio courses alongside Farshid Manafi and the production team of the Thursday Station at Radio Farda. As previously mentioned, at the end of the internship, there is a possibility of hiring one person full-time as a production assistant in the Radio Farda team.
