Ryan: We Do Not Have a Plan for the Forced Deportation of Illegal Immigrants

We believe that first and foremost, before we get involved in any immigration issues, we need to know who is entering the country. We need to secure the borders.' On the same day, President-elect Donald Trump also reiterated his determination to build a wall on the Mexican border during the CBS news program '60 Minutes,' but somewhat moderated his statements. In response to the question of whether he would accept a fence instead of building a wall, he said he would accept this idea for specific areas, but a wall is more suitable for other areas. He also emphasized that he is very good at building walls and considers it construction, but added that fencing may be used in certain areas. CNN reported that the President-elect of the United States has not sufficiently emphasized his campaign promise regarding the deportation of illegal immigrants and instead promised that his focus will first be on deporting those who have committed crimes on U.S. soil, and only then will he be concerned about other groups. He described this group as 'members of criminal gangs and drug traffickers' and stated that their number would be 'two to three million.' The number of illegal immigrants present in the U.S. is estimated to be over 11 million. Ryan's Support for Trump's Tax Reforms The Speaker of the House, in the continuation of his conversation with CNN, avoided answering a question about possible support for Donald Trump's idea of increasing import tariffs from Mexico, but instead stated that he supports Mr. Trump's promise of tax reform as long as it does not have harmful effects and does not damage the economy. Mr. Ryan also said that he agrees with Donald Trump on preserving parts of Barack Obama's healthcare law, but he will not commit to mandating women's contraceptive insurance without cost. He emphasized, 'Obama's healthcare plan has failed and needs to be replaced with another plan. We will do this and we can fix what is broken in healthcare without breaking what is effective within this framework.' During his election campaign, Donald Trump was a critic of Obama's healthcare plan and has promised to replace the healthcare insurance plan known as 'Obamacare' with another plan within his first hundred days of presidency.
