Second Session on 'Extraterrestrials' in Mexican Congress; Peruvian Researchers: The Three-Fingered Mummies Are Real

Peruvian researchers on Tuesday, November 7, confirmed the authenticity of a collection of three-fingered mummified bodies recently presented as potential evidence of non-human life before representatives of the Mexican Congress. However, they refrained from confirming that these remains are extraterrestrial. According to Reuters, Mexican lawmakers first heard from Jaime Maussan, a Mexican journalist and ufologist, on September 13 about 'non-human alien bodies' or 'extraterrestrials,' unveiling two small mummified samples with three fingers on each hand. Mr. Maussan stated that these bodies, believed to have been found near the ancient Nazca lines in Peru, are not related to any form of life on Earth. He testified under oath that 'they are non-human beings that are not part of our evolution on Earth.' However, these statements and the remains shown in the Mexican Congress faced skepticism from several researchers. In the Tuesday session, Jaime Maussan focused more on proving the authenticity of the bodies, which were not displayed this time. Following that, several doctors stated that the bodies belong to real beings that once had life. Yet, the question of their origin remains. The second 'UFO' session hosted by Jaime Maussan in the Mexican Congress saw him suggesting that these bodies could be evidence of extraterrestrial life, saying, 'None of the scientists say [the study results] prove they are extraterrestrial beings, but I go beyond that.' Roger Zuniga, an anthropologist from the National University of San Luis Gonzaga in Ica, Peru, mentioned that researchers had previously studied five similar samples over four years. Mr. Zuniga told Reuters on the sidelines of the meeting, 'They are real.' He noted that he does not know the origin of these beings, adding, 'There is absolutely no human intervention in the physical and biological formation of these beings.' Mr. Zuniga presented a letter with the same claim, signed by 11 researchers from the University of Peru, to the Mexican Congress. However, the letter made no reference to the 'extraterrestrial' nature of these three-fingered bodies.
