Senior Republican Senator: Destroying Iran's Nuclear Program is Beneficial for the World

Lindsey Graham, a senior Republican senator, said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday that the destruction of the Islamic Republic of Iran's nuclear program is in the interest of the world. At the beginning of the interview, in response to a question about a bipartisan resolution proposed by him and several other lawmakers regarding Iran's nuclear program and the necessity of keeping all options on the table, he stated that the resolution is designed against the nuclear ambitions of the Iranian government. He referred to Israel's heavy strikes against Hezbollah and Hamas, two proxy groups of the Islamic Republic, saying that now is the opportunity to deliver an unprecedented blow to Iran's nuclear program. When asked whether the resolution seems to be more about supporting a potential Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities rather than a direct attack by the U.S. on these facilities, he replied: 'Yes.'
