Sharifeh Mohammadi at Risk of 'Life Threat'; 'Professional Torture and Interrogation Team' Deployed to Lakan Prison

According to the campaign's announcement on Sunday, July 31, a three-member interrogation team from 'senior officials of the Ministry of Intelligence' of the Islamic Republic traveled from Tehran to Rasht and subjected Sharifeh Mohammadi to 'hours of psychological torture, interrogation, threats, and humiliation' to force her to 'confess against herself, her activities, and independent labor organizations'. The report states that five 'reliable sources', all from the families of prisoners in Lakan Prison, confirmed this news and warned their relatives about the danger to Sharifeh Mohammadi's life during visits and calls. This campaign, formed to save the life of Sharifeh Mohammadi, a civil activist sentenced to death, is also active on social media and has warned that 'Sharifeh's life and security are seriously at risk'. Following the creation of a 'global wave' to support Sharifeh Mohammadi, 'senior officials of the Islamic Republic have become frightened and have therefore gone after Sharifeh Mohammadi in Lakan Prison' to 'pressure and torture' her into 'cooperation'. According to this campaign, Iranian intelligence officials are trying to 'force Sharifeh Mohammadi to write materials' that 'confirm the false accusations' attributed to her, and while broadcasting forced confessions in state media, 'send a copy to international officials and institutions claiming that the accusations of rebellion and armed activity are valid'.
